Muir Orthopaedic Specialists’ Rehabilitation employs a functional

Hand Therapy at the Rehabilitation
Center
 Our hand therapy team consists of a
Certified Hand Therapists, occupational therapist and exercise
physiologist. Using the latest techniques and most current
modalities, we provide competent and compassionate care with an
active approach to therapy and patient education.
The goal of our hand therapy rehabilitation center is to help
patients achieve the most functional use of their affected extremity
by:
► Restoring range of motion
► Increasing strength and function
► Reducing pain
Our certified therapists are highly skilled and trained specifically
in the evaluation and treatment of hand and upper extremity
injuries.
We treat a variety of diagnoses, but not limited to: cumulative
trauma disorder, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, DeQuervains
disease, tendon and nerve repair, fractures and degenerative
conditions. Our hand program also provides a work conditioning
program for a safer and timely return to work.
