Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, also known as Physiatry, is a medical specialty involved with the conservative (non-surgical) care of orthopaedic injuries. A Physiatrist is the name of the physician who practices Physical medicine. A Physiatrist may also sub-specialize in pain management and electrodiagnostic medicine (EMG’s)

Our goal in Physiatry is to restore maximum function lost through musculoskeletal injuries.

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is a unique and vital medical specialty. Its key components are restoring maximum function lost through injury, or a disabling condition by providing non-surgical treatments. Physiatrists treat a diverse range of conditions. Some of which include sports injuries, spinal disorders, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, repetitive stress disorders and pain management.
